Teresa was born in 1976 in the clinic at Fregon community. She went to Nyapari in 1987 when her family returned to their country of Nyapari. There were no houses and the family set up camp in the bush. They negotiated with the government to set up some basic infrastructure to begin a community. Teresa now works full time at the school as the Anangu Coordinator. She believes education is important for Aboriginal people to take control of their future.
