Nurina was born at Ernabella Mission where she grew up, and remained in communities in the Anangu Pitjantjartjara lands, painting through various art centres in the region.
Nurina paints her Grandmother’s story of Ngapari – a white residue found on green leaves of the river red gum, which is a vital and collected food source.
