Anyupa Nelson

Anyupa Nelson was born around 1968 in Pipalyatjara to Angampa Martin, a renowned Irrunytju artist. Anyupa lives in Pipalyatjara with her husband and across the road from her sister Angela Watson. They sit together every day in the studio, bringing a quiet calm and adding to the good vibes, not to mention stunning paintings that make everyone so happy.
She started painting in 2016 and is going from strength to strength. ‘I paint to support my family’ she says, which includes her grandchildren.
