Betty Mpetyane Club is from Utopia, approx 275km north east of Alice Springs. Her language group is Anmatyerre and her country is Ahalpere, in a remote part of the eastern central desert.
Betty Club is sister to accomplished artist Barbara’s Weir, daughter to Minnie Pwerle (dec.) and niece of one of Australia’s most famous Aboriginal artists Emily Kngawarreye.
